8th Annual ACS Backyard Brawl Recap
July 13, 2026
The 304 WV Fastpitch team faced some adversity during pool play at the 8th Annual ACS Backyard Brawl, but this group
never stopped competing. Despite a challenging start to the weekend, the girls came together and brought their best
when bracket play began.
Showing tremendous resilience, determination, and team chemistry, 304 battled their way through bracket play and advanced all the way to the semifinals. The effort, energy, and fight displayed on bracket day were a true reflection of the growth and character of this team.
This weekend was a reminder that success isn't always about how you start... it's about responding to challenges, continuing to compete, and supporting one another every step of the way. This was especially true as many of our athletes were playing through injuries.
We are incredibly proud of the way these athletes represented our program and look forward to carrying this momentum into the remainder of the season.
USA Softball Firecracker Frenzy Recap

The 304 WV Fastpitch squad put together a solid weekend at the USA Softball Firecracker Frenzy in South Charleston, WV,
finishing 2-1 in pool play and earning a spot in the Platinum Bracket. While our tournament came to an earlier end than
we had hoped with a tough loss in our first bracket game, this team showed plenty to be proud of.
One of the biggest highlights of the weekend was the outstanding work in the circle. Every one of our pitchers stepped up with strong performances, attacking the strike zone, keeping hitters off balance, and giving our team a chance to win every game. Their confidence and composure set the tone all weekend long.
We're proud of the effort, determination, and growth this team continues to show. We'll take what we learned, get back to work, and be ready for the next opportunity.

From Tournament Director: We are getting hit with some storms that is calling to end by 8 am. To miss the wrath
of it, we have decided to push the games to a 9 AM start. This will alter the time to 60 minute finish the inning

Tournament Recap - Premier Athletics Kickoff to Summer
June 8, 2026
304 WV Fastpitch put together a strong weekend at the Premier Athletics 10th Annual Kickoff to Summer tournament
in Morgantown, finishing pool play with a 2-1 record and earning the #4 seed heading into bracket play.
The team continued to battle in bracket action, collecting an impressive 12 hits in the opening bracket game while showing great offensive production throughout the lineup. Defensively, our outfield stepped up with several outstanding catches that helped keep opponents off the scoreboard and provided key momentum swings.
After advancing to the semifinals, our tournament run came to an end, but the team demonstrated resilience, teamwork, and continued growth against quality competition.
We are proud of the effort and energy our players brought to the field all weekend and look forward to building on this momentum as the season continues.

Tournament T-shirt Orders Due for First Tournament

The tournament shirts for our first tournament (Premier Athletics Kickoff to Summer) are now available for order
and are preorder only. The deadline to order is May 24, 2026 at 12:00 PM. Please tell Ryan your order, as he must
submit one team order. The cost is $20 per shirt (small through large) and add $1 for XL and $2 for 2XL, etc...
Please make payment at our first practice.

304 WV Fastpitch has announced their planned tournament schedule for the 2026 season. The team
will be participating in several tournaments throughout the year. Below is the full list.
- June 6 - 7: Premier Athletics 10th Annual Kickoff to Summer (Morgantown, WV)
- June 12 - 14: 9th Annual ACS Diamond Klassic (Monroeville, PA)
- June 18 - 21: 7th Annual ACS Midsummer Mayhem (Morgantown, WV)
- June 26 - 28: 18th Annual USA Softball Firecracker Frenzy (South Charletson, WV)
- July 10 - 12: 8th Annual ACS Backyard Brawl (Morgantown, WV)
- July 16 - 19: 2026 Showdown in Steel Town Challenge (Pittsburgh, PA)
- July 24 - 26: 2026 North American All Sanctioned 14U World Series (Columbus, OH)

304 WV Fastpitch Finishes as Runner-Up in the 2025 Fall Brawl

304 WV Fastpitch had an impressive showing at the 3rd Annual Fall Brawl Fastpitch
Tournament hosted by Finesse Fastpitch on October 25-26, 2025. The team finished as the
runner-up in the tournament, showcasing their skills and teamwork throughout the weekend.
Despite a tough loss to West Hills Elite 2029/2030 in the championship game, the team displayed
great resilience and determination. Although there were several offensive and defensive highlights over
the weekend, the ultimate play came with a walk off 2-run homerun by Maleah Wallace in the first
bracket game! We would like to extend our gratitude to Finesse Fastpitch
for hosting such a well-organized event and to all the teams that competed.
304 WV Fastpitch Visits West Liberty University

On October 19, 2025, 304 WV Fastpitch had the incredible opportunity to visit
West Liberty University. The team visited the athletic facilities, met with some of the university's softball
players and coaches, and ran through drills. It was an inspiring experience for our players to
see the possibilities that lie ahead in their athletic and academic careers. We would like to extend
our gratitude to West Liberty University for hosting us and providing such a memorable experience.

304 WV Fastpitch Finishes Strong
October 13, 2025
Although 304 WV Fastpitch did not win the day, they finished strong in the final game.
After losing the first two games to WV Wild 14U and Rebel Fastpitch Williams 13U, the team
bounced back with a big win over Cumberland Heat 14U by a score of 20-11. The team
showed great resilience and determination throughout the day. We would like to thank WV Wild 14U,
Cumberland Heat 14U, and Rebel Fastpitch Williams 13U for competing in our Round Robin.

A League of Their Own Round Robin Concludes
September 15, 2025
304 WV Fastpitch finished the A League of Their Own Round Robin with a 2-1 record. We started the day with a
tough 3-4 loss to Rebel Fastpitch - McCabe. We bounced back in our second game with a big win over Pure Octane by a score of 9-3.
We finished the day with a hard-fought victory over Smash Fastpitch, with a walk-off single to win 4-3.
We want to thank Smash Fastpitch for hosting a great event, and we look forward to participating again next year!
Schedule Released

The schedule for the A League of Their Own Round Robin has been released and posted
to our website. 304 WV Fastpitch will start the day playing Rebel Fastpitch - McCabe at 10:30 AM, followed by
Pure Octane at 12:00 PM, and finishing up with a match against SMASH Fastpitch at 4:30 PM.

Fall Events Updated

Our first game activities for the Fall have been scheduled. On Sunday, September 14th we will participate in the
A League of Their Own Round Robin, hosted by Smash Fastpitch in Waynesburg, PA. Also, we will head up to
Belle Vernon, PA to play in the 3rd Annual Fall Brawl Fastpitch Tournament during the October 25 -
26 weekend. Details will be posted to our Tournament Info page, as well as on our
General Calendar page.

Parent/Player Meeting Announcement
August 5, 2025
Our first Parent/Player Meeting will be held on Sunday, August 10, at 5:00 PM. We will meet at the small pavilion located
at the Granville Softball Complex. We will plan to do headshots and a short practice at the conclusion of the meeting.

304 WV Fastpitch has officially launched their website. This site gives 304 WV full control over content creation and
formatting. The goal of this website is to improve communication with players, parents, fans, and recruiters. We will
still post content on our social media platforms, but this page will serve as the main source of information about 304 WV Fastpitch.
